It takes more than just having top quality players like Sanchez to win the league — there are other qualities you need
like playing as a team and winning when you play badly — that is the stuff of champions.

like basketball, hockey, some baseball and rugby.I am a big jersey buyer i have a lot of jerseys mostly of american football and soccer.I love the strategy of football i think it is fascinating.I have been a falcons fan since 1990 when the went to all black helmets and jerseys i was a fan because of that and because of primetime deion sanders.I have been a falcons fan through thick and thin win or lose they are my
team regardless of how they do.I hope to one day visit Atlanta and see them
play at home in Georgia.I hope to one day see them bring back black jerseys
as the home colors.I am still a fan of the run n shoot offense i truly believe it can work in the nfl if ran and merged with some two back formations and a one back three wide one tight end formation.

like headless chickens... with ramsey and giroud in the

goodness i can't believe it people will still defend him.You know something when Giroud misses many chances
like at Monaco i did not criticize him even based on that you know why?its because he has always not been clinical. The only way a
team can improve is by indentifying its problems and solving them.Arsenal has Giroud
as the main cf and Welbeck
as backup to him.Giroud has done well scoring some goals some too important but collectively he does more harm than good.Do not use moments to judge a player judge him based on content.Giroud does not excel in many games than he excels in games.
As a main cf you need to be consistent.I see people here saying Giroud can not dribble he cant do this he cant do that but its a bit crazy to criticize him for that because every player has his own style.Giroud limitations
as a player costs arsenal and will cost us a lot. Most importantly his poor finishing which has cost us several times. Not good enough. His style of
play is ok for us but a striker who can take on players and run behind defences very well would make us very strong and also should be clinical. For Welbeck he needs to works on his finishing and composure by doing the basic things right. He rushes infront of goal too much. For now he is just above average. However he can excel if he works on improving.Giroud and Welbeck will always be a pain in arsenal's neck for most part. Some will call me stupid but hey at least i want to analyze the problem.People may support Giroud or Welbeck to lead the line next season but
as the saying goes if you fool me once shame on you but if you fool me twice shame on me.Will you let Giroud and Welbeck fool you again?

I disagree.A wingback can be viewed
as a defensive winger.Whether the Ox
likes it or not he's been blessed with the qualities of a winger. To me that's his best position. He's only doing well
as a wingback because of his attacking abilities.
As I said earlier a wingback can be viewed
as a sort of defensive winger. That's why CB's who are used
as RB or LB can not
play wingback.Wingback needs the player to be able to adapt himself
like a winger while also being solid defensively.Ox has the attacking part but not the defensive part. With Bellerin we have the best of both worlds. He can attack, defend and also has the speed necessary to
play wingback.I fear Ox being
played at wingback will cost us when we
play teams with tricky wingers. He should rather be challenging Sanchez or Ozil for their positions and not wingback. The guy hates to always have to defend which in truth he can't.

that tactic worked fantastically at the star of this season where walcott performed and it worked brilliantly for the
team but after the injury of Theo, giroud had his dry patch and theo almost did nt even try... and the year before welbeck
played reaaaally bad
as a starting striker and scored 4 goals or something i think, if he had one worldclass or equally good striker
as giroud, we would have enough and wenger could rotate them according to the patch / form of giroud
like what he intended to do with walcott and giroud, which i had high hopes for but sadly only worked for half the season
Rosicky will feature in games, same
as he did last year.I'd
like to see him
play more often to be honest, but he's more valuable
as a substitute, when the opposing
team gets tired and he increases the tempo, rather than having him start and substitute him at around 65 - 70 mins, because of the fatigue.Again though, he's still very valuable and crucial for us, if we want to do well in every competition we are in.
Sanchez is one of the few players who gives it his all in whatever circumstances the game may have taken so yea
play him
as much
as he wants, christ its not
like there are many others in the
team that have his drive and will to win.
@muffdiver Correct It's
as simple
as that man we lack the effort and fight because Arsene doesn't bother with it Klopp would've tore his
team a new a • sehole if they
played like us last night, then Wenger comes out and says we were average lol.
Remember if you aren't at the head of the class when it comes to the development of young talent, which means eyes on the ground everywhere, a vast array of connections with soccer associations throughout Europe and beyond and a manager willing to properly train and
play said blue chippers, (
like the 90s Arsenal or clubs
like the modern day Monaco and Dortmund) you need to spend to win... anything in between is highly problematic... failure to make the necessary changes leaves you in the proverbial «no man's land» and that is currently where we reside... it's difficult to get out of this rut... just ask either of the Milan
teams... next step after that is being known
as a «seller», which could be us already if and when Sanchez leaves... there are only two
teams that have worn this moniker in recent times and had some decent success and that is Athletico Madrid and Dortmond, which only occurred when they both brought in new, charismatic leaders in Simmone & Klopp... the odds that Wenger could conjure up the magic to repeat the performances of a bygone era are incredibly low, so why prolong the agony... he's not willing to create the hierarchy necessary to go the youth route and he's unwilling to put his
team's potential success ahead of his job security by laying it on the line with Moustache, so it's time to place all your chips in the middle or go gently into that good night
look at him
play, he is slow.He does a few good things in a match but he is essentially useless, he would not be in the top five starting teams. He is good
as substitution a bit
like giroud.This
team without a true dm (not arteta) and another cb has no chance winning anything.I hope Campbel, podolski and co have
play time under despote wenger.
Spot on Mate, People» do nt realise what Mr Wenger has achieved, Look at the
likes of Leeds United, Portsmouth (It was same rated
team in Fifa 09
as Arsenal and look where they are now) Tottenham and liverpool are thinking of making new stadium for years and they are not able to do it, When people ask what has the old man given us in last ten years apart from sorrow and anguish, I would
like them to point towards the stadium in which our beloved
team plays and thousands of supporters watch the match.
I am not going to be too hard on Wenger
as there is not a lot a manager can do about individual mistakes leading to goals or so many players having an off day, and I can understand his concern about the
teams» relative fitness levels, but it does feel
like we
played into their hands a bit.
The problem with us is that we can win against any of them just
as much
as we are capable of losing against them, we can be a real Jekyll and Hyde
team, if we go out
playing like we think we already won tonites match, we could easily get stunned by AC, when was the last time we won a home game in the knock out stages of a European tie, 6 or 7 years ago.
We didn't have the money to get quality players hence why we couldn't

Arsenal fans should be getting used to some awful performances by Arsene Wenger's
team this season, but this was surely one of the worst

team, while the embarrassing defeats to
teams like Nottm Forest and Ostersunds were at least
played by our reserves..

also sell campbell with him signing a new contract we should get good money for him and spanish
teams seem to
like him, poldoski also out, theo if he is not happy with being a
team player he can also go i think he is paying the price for holding us to ransom in his last deal he wanted more money and assurances he, ll be
playing as a CF not good enough also sanogo should be sold for his own good and do a chamack will be
playing better & regularly for a smaller
team (palace, newcasttle aka neufchateau:) freeing places for class players!!
It's difficult to blame Ozil for the difficulties he's faced at Arsenal without looking at the big picture...
like the fans, he too was lied to by Wenger... there is no doubt in my mind that he was told by Wenger that he was trying desperately to recreate our earlier success by acquiring players that fit the system he ran when Henry was in his prime...
as we know this hasn't happened... in order for Ozl to flourish he needs some speed up front, forwards that can make intelligent runs, a boss in the midfield to compensate for his obvious defensive liabilities and defenders who can transition from defence to offence quickly and efficiently... much
like he had in Real and with the German National squad... unfortunately he ended up on a squad that has a striker who
plays with his back to goal, very few intelligent runs into the box, minus Sanchez, no one to take pressure off him in the midfield, once Cazorla was injured, average defensive midfielders around him, which simply highlighted his lacking defensive qualities and defenders who lack the necessary cutting edge when it comes to transitional passing... instead of blaming Ozil, which is simply too easy, especially considering his mopey disposition, we should be asking ownership and / or Wenger why they brought him in if they didn't intend on doing what was necessary to get the best from him... can you imagine Ozil
playing with the
likes of Henry, Viera, Petit and Pires, it would be incredibly to watch and even more difficult to stop... so the only thing different between his experiences in Real and with the German
team versus his time at Arsenal are the players around him and we all know who is in charge of making those decisions, the Grinch who stole soccer
Before this season started I had written on this blog that, if TH wants to make it to the
play - offs
as badly
as he was talking about it, he must
play better than he had
played last season and become the leader on this
team, put up the numbers
like a real star.
Although we also have the Europa League games to come, our next round against the minnows from Sweden, Ostersund, it is hardly likely to be
as stressful
as playing teams like Barcelona, Juventus or Sevilla and I am sure Wenger will still be rotating players for these games.
I've always maintained my stance that Arsene Wenger loves French players in his
team than any other players. No matter how average you are once you're French and once you're in the first
team he tends to give you so many chances to prove yourself.I can start mentioning them if you want me to but I know you know them.If Lucas Perez was French he wouldn't have been out so early believe me.I just don't know where to begin. Was Giroud bought to become a super sub or to be the leading striker?Having giving us many sesons of failure people are now content with him being a so called super sub.A player
like Giroud is not built for that kind of role.He ws a super sub in 99 % of those matches because he was not
played when he was supposed to and we needed presence in the air.The funny thing is people are using only this season to label him
as a super sub. There were so many matched that Wenger should have started Giroud but for some reason didn't start him.I only see Arsenal
as the top club who'd be crying over Giroud. If a good offer comes we should sell.
Giroud — too slow, too inconsistent, no good enough to link - up
play and he's symptomatic of when the Wenger plan truly fell off the rails... he obviously has some great skills but they would make far more sense on a
team that was fighting for much lesser objectives because we have never used a formation that works to his strengths (2 up top
like France) and
as such he should be sold to the highest bidder regardless of who it is
His
play at the world championships mirrored his
play in the NBA: In Yugoslavia's early games he looked
like a tired old man, but on he came, getting stronger
as his
team did.
We just ain't good when the opposition closes us down, our players
like space and if you watched the game Spuds when they lost the ball they got it back in seconds working together
as a
team, that's what you have to do to stop good
teams play like we did at Chelsea first half of the season,
We
play at times
as if we have no goal or objectives and that's so pathetic wasting money to watch a
team playing like a cripple.
I would just
like to add
as well that we
played against a good Bayern
team who have won this competition [recently], and who have 11 top - class players.
