My base is always frozen fruit because I
like my smoothies cold, then I add a ton of greens, lemon,
spirulina, bee pollen, maca, sprouted brown rice protein
powder or hemp seeds... my smoothies can get a bit on the overloaded side!
I was just wanting to ask I recently bought some
spirulina powder to put on my cereal / smoothies etc but it tasted
like horse manure.
Obvious sources
like beans, lentils, tofu, tempeh, edamame, and plant - based protein
powders, but also non-obvious sources
like seeds, nuts, nut butters, ancient and whole grains, superfoods
like spirulina, and certain vegetables
like peas, broccoli, spinach.
I love throwing in veggies into things
like oatmeal (cauliflower), baked goods and I am loving throwing
spirulina powder in my smoothies that seems to work really well for my husband and I!

powder or tablet form.
