squash, and pumpkin and have been using them in baked goods and oatmeal (because he doesn't
like potatoes or
squash on their own).

like fall — just in time for Thanksgiving.
Whiskey lovers can start their day with Kentucky Bourbon Pancakes (which, when combined with Blueberry Kentucky Bourbon Syrup, call for a formidable 2 cups of bourbon); lunch
on a Wilted Spinach Salad with a sweet and sour orange dressing (generously spiked with a half cup of bourbon); tuck into Chicken with Mustard Honey Kentucky Bourbon Sauce and Kentucky Bourbon Acorn
Squash for dinner; and end the day with a slice of fruitcake -
like Kentucky Bourbon Cake.
In my recent quest to cut down
on the amount of processed white flour in our diet, I looked for an alternative to the pasta part so that I could still get my fill of meatballs, and spaghetti
squash seemed
like the most obvious choice.
Like on a baked potatoes and
squash.
I prefer to use rice vermicelli for an authentic texture, but feel free to use spiralized vegetables (
like zucchini or yellow
squash), or sweet potato noodles, depending
on your preference.
You can test the doneness just by running a fork
on the inside and if spaghetti
like strands of
squash come away from the rest of the
squash, it's done!
So I've left it completely up to you, prepare your own
squash however you
like, I've even been microwaving my
squash sometimes lately, which really cuts down
on the time.
I'm sure the soup would be also delicious with pumpkin instead of the
squash, I usually just use whatever veggies I have

To make a sheet pan meal, I just marinate the veggies and protein I want to include (and typically I include a starch
like sweet potatoes, white potatoes, or
squash) and roast
on a sheet pan at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 25 minutes.

OK, here are some favorites we've been cooking up at my place: - vegetable curry (grind my own whole spices, use whatever veggies we get in our weekly CSA share; radishes / beets, eggplant,
