One Sunday in
bible study class we were sharing our thoughts on what Heaven might be
like.
Any truth to be gleaned from the
bible will be done by
studying the prevailing themes
like love, charity, and the golden rule and applying them to our God given consciences and living well.
The interesting thing is that you do nt have to
study any religous book (and by religous book I take that to mean the authoritative book of a particular religion,

bible, koran, etc.) to get to the truth.
But, the truth is the
bible is far from fantasy, but you've never really
studied the history, culture, of the
bible have you, you just

Maybe you should spend more time
studying things
like american history instead of reading the
bible since you are clueless about such things.
I have a sign with my ministry name its obvious that mim a christian and i talk to people i share the gospel and i do nt say so you want to believe now, or something
like that I just share the gospel with them and they leave I do nt always know if they got saved or not and I do invite them to a
bible study.

like this that a lot of thorough
study of original context of the original documents are required, because there are lots of verses that suggest faith alone is required for salvation and others that suggest that faith plus consistent good behavior are required and the
bible can't contradict itself if it's inspired by God.
I think it means it's gonna be darn tough, I know all the
bible study folks want to intepret it to suit themself, and I've heard them try to say it's not what it sounds
like, but to me it means next to impossible, I mean you either take the
bible at it's word or you don't.

bible tells you to, but as long as I still say I believe in God, then I am covered... just in case he is real... what a joke!
