I love to cook and I'm always looking for homemade stuff to replace store bought but the whole reason I needed this recipe is because I thought I had

tacos the other night so I did a search and I
like this one so I tried it.

taco seasoning or my seasoning
mix (recipe to follow) 2/3 cup water 9 corn tortillas 2/3 cup
taco sauce or 1 cup salsa 1 — 14 ounce can black beans, drained and rinsed 1 cup corn, thawed if frozen 1 + 1/2 cup extra sharp cheddar cheese, shredded 2 large tomatoes, sliced, seeds removed
taco fixings
like lettuce, sour cream, avocado and / or quacamole for serving
I
mixed some of the leftovers this morning into my scrambled eggs (with some sauteed onion) and ate it on a couple of those oatmeal pancakes (from this site) folded
like a

I've never had anything

like this!
But for some reason when I would use the store bought
taco seasoning
mix, there was something I just did not
like about the seasoning.

I took the others advice since i do
like a spicier meat and used a
taco seasoning
mix and it was great!

Mix it up with any spices you
like... Try Cumin or homemade
taco seasoning would give a Mexican flavor or Curry powder would be great as a stand - alone spice.
