I'm just trying to make sure that there's at least one contrarian and maybe one voice of realism among this

I'm infuriated by pundits especially carragher that twat ex Liverpool player talking crappie about arsenal hasn't got leaders on the field, we won 7,8 games on the trot before

I know Arsenal all too well and trust me we would've still lost.A lot of people think this Arsenal squad isn't good enough to win the league but I beg to differ.Give this same squad to Rafa Benitez or any world class manager even without any signing before the transfer window ends and
watch us play
like you've never seen before. The problem in this team has always been tactics, mentality and mismanagement. This is what has really been disturbing us for several
seasons but alwas goes ignored.Mark my words that if Arsenal get everyone they're supposed to we're not winning the league if those three things aren't checked. We need signings but our problem is much bigger than signings.Give this same squad to Klopp or a too manager and you'd be shocked some players who were called average will be playing differently. You know why?Strong mentality, proper management and good tactics count.

Sometimes i do nt understand some people saying thing
like Benzema is not what we need and that he is not that good. Some people lack reasoning to be very honest. They do nt think before talking.I wonder why people say that because when you
watched him from his first
season up to this
season he really is that good. Some arsenal legends are saying we need him almost everyone is saying so too.We need him and stop judging his character because you have no right to judge anyone.Giroud is an average striker and i am not judging him from yesterday's game i am judging him from
season 1 to this
season. He is nothing special and has never been.

Arsene Wenger can must get Ben Yedder as long as he's clinical and can beat his man.I'd take him over Giroud any day and I think if Giroud is put in that Toulouse squad he won't score more goals than Ben Yedder and denying this fact would mean you choose to be blinded. We had better get him quickly.I've said it here time and time again the reason why Arsenal are not winning things with Giroud is because he's not clinical. If you guys were to ever
watch his misses in every
season by
season since he came here you would be shocked at the kind of striker we have. But as usual he's always forgiven and people continually rate him basing it on statistics and forget he's playing for Arsenal with the

In other news, our team seems to be rounding nicely into form, with a productive off -
season and several new additions already settling in, there seems to be a renewed sense of confidence in the air... our well - oiled machine has conducted business again early this year, so we can just sit back, kick our feet up and
watch all those other suckers scramble to make panic moves in the 11th hour... of course, we need to tie up a few loose ends but our team of savvy negotiators, under the tutelage of our faithful leader, will perform their usual magic with ample time to spare... I have to laugh when I look around the soccer world and see all those teams look upon us with envy and scorn as they struggle to mimic our seemingly infallible business model... thank goodness the powers that be had the foresight and fortitude to resist the temptations of the modern football era... instead of listening to all the experts and simply taking the easy way out by making the necessary improvements on the field and in the front office, we chose the path never traveled... we are truly pioneers in our field... sometimes you just have to have faith in the people that have always conducted themselves in a respectful and honest fashion... most fans aren't so fortunate, they will never know what it's
like to follow a team that treats everyone in and around the club as if they were an extended member of the family... all for one I say... so when you wake up this morning, please try not to gloat when you see rival fans pacing back and forth waiting for their respective teams to pull the usual panic buys, just say nothing and be thankful that it isn't you...
like I've always said, this is why you stay the course... this is when the real benefits of having someone in charge for over 2 decades really pays off... have a great day fellow Gunners
I remember that 91 team well i had just graduated high school that year.In the 90
season i saw they changed to black uniforms i was
like that's my team.I was
like i got to have one of those black jerseys and i went to the mall right after xmas in 90 and what do i find a number 21 black jersey sitting on the clearence rack with a host of other teams jerseys that was the only Falcons one left.So i bought it and wore that at school the next week and i told people this is my team win lose or draw. That 91 team was exciting to
watch and that's how it all started for me being a fan of this team.
all the fans here need 2 protest stop going to arsenal games stop paying money 2
watch sanogo play we deserve better we may do well next week then

season fade away next
season expect ozil / sanchez / ramsey to leave
why was Sanchez truly playing... no one believes he was too injured to play to start the
season, and some
like myself would go as far to suggest he wasn't injured at all... so why play him... they can't say it was to appease the fans because when was that ever a factor at this club except when «panic buys» were in the offing... I believe that this was to give Arsenal a little leverage when it comes to negotiating his transfer... just imagine their horrible bargaining position if Sanchez never saw the field before the deadline then heading back to South America and played for Chile... regardless of the facts, this was sadly again another example of a team putting business ahead of fielding a team with the greatest chance to secure 3 points... of course, some will say that Sanchez is, or was, our best player, so obviously he's a no - brainer to start, but those who really
watch the game know that his heart hasn't been truly in it for quite some time... even at the end of last
season you could see a definitive difference between the Sanchez who played for Chile and the one that played for Arsenal... that being said, 70 % of Sanchez is still better than a 100 % of the vast majority of our remaining roster... shame on you Arsene and shame on you too Sanchez for that telling smirk... I've supported your attempt to push this squad to the next level but don't pretend for a second that you didn't know you were being
watched... don't lower your standards or you'll end up
like this club, on the outside looking in
Need keep winning, we need be ready for cska cause we need get back into champions league as for fans that do want
watch the stoke game yer not true arsenal fans I'd never miss arsenal game unless I had go funeral
like really some arsenal fans make me sick ya very bad
season but I think we have plans in place or why would ozil sign new contact he sees the plans ahead and
likes wat he sees otherwise he would be gone so come on arsenal send stoke championship with shawcross and do job on cska cause we need bring lead bk to Russia and let's get bk into champions league oh and I'd
like say if we get atl Madrid trust me over 2 legs or in final arsenal can beat them u wait see it's just or confedence was shot
But I will be disappointed if we bring in the
like of Llorante, waste of money and waste of space — even Martinez, Mandzukic — the highest profile forwards moving clubs this
season are not better than Giroud / Walcott —
watch them play don't
watch their Youtube compilation, Giroud looks brilliant there too.
kondogbia for me all the way he has all the skills we need for d / m he schooled our midfield when we played them this
season on his own, hopefully this would have had wenger rubbing his hands together with glee to
watch such a class act who could run our midfield, so i think go straight in with # 30million for him straight off the bat, and test monaco's resolve and his to stay, or make him a star in our midfield he would have helped us drive the midfield forward from deep midfield and smash defensive teams
like swansea.
In the middle, for me Coq has been disappointing this
season and for this reason, if we can get N'Golo Kante, good for us, but I would still
like AFC to add someone in the Gilberto Silva / Viera mould in the middle... AFC scouts might want to take a look at A Rabiot, W. Carvalho, L Bender, S. Khedira in this regard because I don't
watch other Leagues often enough to judge on their actual quality or suitability.
If the argument here is what kind of manager rather that what manager I would need to see a manager with guts with anger with emotion with firing tactics not some one
watching a girly flick with popcorn MR wenger is too gentleman
like and very cool I
like MR wenger I
like what he has done to the club Arsenal is a top club at the top four all
seasons for the past 20 years Is there a fiery manager out there that can win us the league year in year out for the next 20 years?????
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the
likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I
like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last
season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off -
season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I
watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last
season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act
like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he
like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the
season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is
like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
While Lukaku may be the more skillful player, better to
watch, and may well score more goals overall this
season, Morata seems
like the one more likely to keep his cool and come alive when it matters most.
Gary Neville has now moved to play down our club's title credentials having
