like replying (because I am not yet caffeinated on this my first day of holiday vacay), you know what, screw you, I'm unsubscribing and taking your books off my
TBR list.
My
TBR pile by my desk looks
like a lean - to against it, and then there's another large one by my bed.
I've thought about using Goodreads, but I haven't done much with my shelves there, and as you said, many books on my
TBR shelf are more
like a wish list.
Kids themselves are starting to use services
like Goodreads in their schools, reviewing books and adding them to their
TBR lists.

I haven't yet read any other works by this author, but this book sounds kind of
like City of Saints and Madmen by Vandermeer which has been on my
TBR for too long.

Typically these events are great for increasing your Goodreads
TBR shelf, adding
LIKES to your FB page, and increasing your Twitter and Pinterest followers, which might result in sales later on.
And if you
like dark humour / Transgressive Fiction you might consider adding one of mine to your
TBR list.
