Inspiration is, truly, where you find it, and even though people back east probably can't even read this, today I've got some thoughts on the book creation process, more on how to sell ebooks, a warning about subsidy publishers,
the limits of ebook formatting, and being careful online.

Not exact matches
For a Linux box, you can scratch any hope
of data portability between devices, unless you write something that can synchronize the various Crosswire front ends; * If all you have is an
eBook reader, and a SmartTV, then the options probably are
limited to the material you can locate in a
format usable by the
eBook reader, and whatever the SmartTV can pull in.
I am a Nook fan not because
of anything Barnes and Noble has done but because I like the physical device better and I'm not

eBook over-pricing and the Kindle's lack
of space expansion are some
of the reasons why I won't be purchasing a Kindle.
Retailers like Powells.com, Christianbook.com, etc. all lose a lot
of transactions because
of their
eBook sales are
limited by file

One important factor
of the above comparisons is that the very popular Kindle has been purposely
limited to Amazon
ebook formats only.
However, when
formatting ebooks for Kindle, be careful that this high resolution does not cause the image to exceed the size
limit of 63KB per image.
Right now, we have lots
of options which protect
ebook access via established distribution chains and publisher agreements — but they also
limit it through DRM, restricted
format support, and outright refusal by some publishers to sell
ebooks to libraries.
I like
ebooks as much as the next person but until until the big boys adopt one single std
format that you can use on any device, and is not
limited to x number
of machines I doubt
ebooks will really take off.
The preparation process for an
eBook is quite fast as there is only a
limited amount
of formatting allowed and you can use free preview tools, such as Calibre, to see how it will look on an
eBook reader.
When a big publisher aimed to introduce a legendary series
of books in
eBook format to fans, Thai readers thrillingly anticipated in the
eBook launch
of a classical literature, Phet Phra Uma, written by a well - respected author, Panomtien, despite the
limited presence
of eBook catalog in the bookstores.
