I try to live by the «in moderation» rule, so overdoing it in the sample
line kind of messes things up for me.

It seemed as though this helter - skelter
mess of lines served as a
kind of skeleton for the map — its «mathematical structure» — just like the tidy grid does for modern maps.
My
lines aren't clean or even, and Night Glow was actually a big
mess to work with; it was goopy and
kind of dried out, so I put some thinner in.
this brow pencil can definitely create those aggressive
lines (which made me think ugh i need to start over again) but then i used the brush on the other side to
kind of mess it up and i really liked it.
