Accordingly, the «APC urged the governor not to push his luck too far as there will obviously be grave consequences if he insists on over-reaching himself along the
line he has chosen as he will be held responsible for any breach of the law, order and further undermining of the fragile peace of the
State at this
time.
Apparently, it's possible that the Legislature could decide to delay county committee and district leader races this year if the redistricting
lines aren't finalized in
time for the
state Board of Elections to draw up the Election Districts.
(In fact, the director of the
state Democratic Party, Geoff Berman, has used the same
line for both Republicans, referring to each of them separately as a Trump «mini-me,» indicating it might be high
time for a new verbal barb).
Cuomo proposed reforms to the
state's sex trafficking laws, bringing New York into
line with federal laws, which recognize that anyone who prostitutes out minors is a sex trafficker, a felony charge with mandatory prison
time.
The
states at the
time announced they would create a research consortium, which Cuomo calls «a major step in our multistate partnership to research responsible gun safety legislation and take new steps to prevent illegal guns from crossing
state lines.»
The move allows the courts to draw their own Congressional map if the
State Legislature can not draw
lines in
time for the June 26th primary.

lines without submitting them to the DOJ for the first
