These works presented flattened surfaces completely covered in black paint with the addition of geometrically symmetrical white lines.

With Tree line two slopes Davos from below, the pine trees struggle to remain on the surface after having been covered by the white mantle of a violent avalanche, yields a series of abstract compositions charged with movement, where we see the pines on the hillside, and the channels the avalanches formed in between them.

For the white drawings, the buried information of the catalogue pages reverberates through the lines of correction fluid which trace and cover them.

One of the first things I notice are the empty billboards along the road: no advertisement, no cover, just long lines of fluorescent white light against a dark sky, creating different patterns per how many tubes are currently working.

Here, translucent washes of brown and yellow cover the frame and edges of a composition traversed at the center by a long horizontal band of narrow, richly textured lines of cobalt blue and white.

Then she covers the surface with one coat of white paint, thin enough that the lines show through.

With their surfaces almost entirely covered in ink, these works turn drawing inside out; figuration emerges from the white unmarked spaces, and drawing becomes the absence of ink, even as the drawn lines provide much of the visual drama.

Each composition begins in one corner and continues slowly, methodically in a single non-overlapping line until the surface is covered, resulting in a series of black and white paintings with a clear beginning and end to the creative process.
