The movie, which follows four marines (Mark Wahlberg's Marcus, Taylor Kitsch's Michael, Emile Hirsch's Danny, and Ben Foster's Matt) as they get trapped behind enemy
lines during a risky mission, certainly opens with a
fair amount of promise, as Berg does a nice
job of initially drawing the viewer into the familiar proceedings - although, by that same token, it's clear that the film would've benefited from a more in - depth look
at the individual protagonists (ie the four men are, to an increasingly distressing degree, basically interchangeable).
Based in WWI the game does a
fair job at the planes of choice, but the small amount of single player missions leaves this game to the side
lines for me.
Even if you do not get a
job at the
job fair, you will still be expanding your professional network, which could lead to a
job opportunity further down the
line.
This damages workers» bottom
line and can even contribute to the gender pay gap, as women who were underpaid
at their last
job may find themselves unable to negotiate a
fair salary going forward.
If you don't want to take the risk that the guy
at the end of the long
line will get laid off (LOL) do your research and contact each company you are interested in networking with
at the
job fair.
In the short time we spent with them
at the
Fair, giving short career - coaching sessions and also presentations on CV writing, on -
line job search techniques and interview skills, I felt that we did make a difference.
