Love your version of Veg pho — although the fish sauce can be replace with
liquid aminos for those of us who are veg.
The stir - fry sauce comes together in a minute because you only need to shake soy sauce (or tamari or
liquid aminos for a gluten free version) with rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey, chili paste, and fresh ginger in a jar.
I didn't have hoison sauce though, and we substituted
liquid aminos for the soy sauce, it turned out great!

To get them to have the perfect amount of saltiness
for my family, this is how I did it — I used the
liquid aminos instead of soy sauce, seasoned panko bread crumbs instead of plain, and water instead of broth.

I've sub the sugar
for coconut sugar and instead of doing rice I subbed it
for cauliflower rice, instead of soy sauce I use Bragg,

Second attempt was great with just 1 tsp
Liquid Smoke + 1/2 tsp sweet smoked paprika, skipped the maple syrup and molasses, and switched the nasty
Aminos for 1 TBS Apple Cider Vinegar mixed with 1 TBS tomato paste.
For the dressing, I've replaced fish sauce with Braggs
liquid aminos like this but feel free to use coconut
aminos or soya sauce or tamari.
Add the maple syrup and continue to stir
for another 2 - 3 minutes or until maple syrup and coconut
aminos have cooked down and there is very little
liquid left in the pan.
For those susceptible even to the small amounts of glutamate or histamines in fermented foods, the unfermented Bragg coconut
liquid aminos is a better choice than Coconut Secret.

So do not do
liquid cleanses that are devoid of proteins or
amino acids
for longer than 48 hours.
Some people who have undergone certain surgeries have to consume a
liquid diet and whey protein is great
for supplying the body and mind with highly necessary proteins and
amino acids.
A note about cook time: I've found that 12 hours is the sweet spot
for my slow - cooker — any longer, and it actually overcooks and the gelatin is broken down into
amino acids (you will know when this happens because the broth is
liquid when cold rather than gelatinous).
