I did take a
bowl out and «play around» a bit with some local raw honey, a splash
of pickled ginger
liquid, and some chopped pickled ginger on top it was delicious and certainly satisfying!
The weight
of the
bowl pressing on the eggplant will cause to draw the bitter
liquid out of the cubes.
When thoroughly chilled, being careful not to shake, open up the two cans
of straight coconut milk and (depending on whether you have opened the can with the cream or
liquid layer at the top) either tip off the coconut water into a glass and scoop

Once you've squeezed
out all
of the extra
liquid break the spinach back up and toss it in the
bowl with your artichokes.
Open the can
of coconut milk and carefully scoop
out the creamy top part (reserving the
liquid) into a large mixing
bowl.
Take the
bowl out of the stand mixer and fold in about a third
of the flour, then a third
of the
liquid mixture.
Pour the pitcher
of liquid ingredients into the
bowl of dry ingredients, whisking to combine, then pour into a prepared pan and bake for 30 - 35 minutes, by which time the top will be golden brown, the sides shrinking away from the pan and a cake tester should come

I found that the
bowls of batter that I overworked came
out much more chewy and flat than the pancakes I stirred just until the flour and
liquid were combined — No need to get every little flour clump
out!
4 Before draining the spaghetti, scoop
out a little pasta - cooking
liquid and reserve, then toss the drained pasta into the
bowl of tuna, scallions, etc., and mix together really well, adding a spoonful or so
of pasta - cooking water to bring some starchy creaminess to the sauce.
