Here's a brief refresher of the Chase 5/24 rule: If you have been approved for or been
listed as an authorized user on five credit cards (personal or business) in the 24 months, you will need to wait for your oldest card application inquiry to drop off your credit report.
You will likely find some credit card providers who are willing to let you be
listed as an authorized user on an account with another borrower with a higher credit score.
If the form is unclear it's ok to ask, «on having a bank account, does being
listed as an authorized user on someone else's account count if it isn't my money or bank account?»
They don't even need to give you access to their account, but just
listing you as an authorized user could accelerate your ability to obtain a credit card in the future.
You do not have to use the account or even have a card to be
listed as an authorized user or for the account holder's credit to reflect on your own.

This modification will occur later this summer and as a result, consumers who are
listed as authorized users on credit card accounts will probably see a major change in their credit scores.
Short of that, you'll either have to co-sign for your child or
