If you
've been buying your spices and
herbs in bulk then you probably wont see an ingredient
list.
The White House executive chef, Cristeta Comerford
has no doubt requested a variety
herbs on her wish
list.
The ingredients
list may look pretty long, but most of it is
herbs, so if you haven't got one, sub it in for another one to your liking.
I especially like that she
lists and explains the main spices and
herbs that
would be used in the recipes, so that it was easy to go shopping and
have everything beforehand.
If you do not
have the fresh
herbs on hand, you can get away with using just the dried ones
listed.
In the recipe below, I
listed oregano, but any of your favorite
herb (s)
would work well here.
Goats Rue tea
has very similar properties to other
herbs on this
list including helping blood sugars, being antibacterial and improving water retention.
Consider Using
herbs and / or Medications — If you
