A good number of the lectures I
listened to, which admittedly were more geared towards screenwriting but included numerous
writing craft classes as well, focused on
story beats.
I'm still
listening to you though and trying
to get back into
writing because I miss my characters, and there are so many more
stories for me
to tell.
I approach people I
write about from a place of respect and genuine interest, and I hope I convey the fact that everyone has an amazing
story to tell if we ask them the right questions
to draw them out and if we're willing
to listen.
