literacy sees us living in an increasingly connected world.

Another problem is that when people calk for biblical
literacy and then
see pain and problems in the
lives of others, they either think that a Bible verse will help the other person, OR that the other person wouldn't be having these problems if they had just known the Bible better.
They
see people not
living very biblically, and not really having a biblical worldview, and so they think that if they can raise the level of biblical
literacy, this will raise the level of biblical
living as well.

see higher
life expectancies,
literacy rates, and incomes.
Our students must
see literacy as a natural part of everyday
life, not just a school thing.
