Why then, do you
feel that you can safely pick and choose what is the
word of god as it is currently
literally stated, and how do you determine when something
literally stated is a translation error, or taken out of context?
Someone wrote a book about Hindus, some priest in India got mad, and
literally got the book legally banned in India because it, in HIS OWN
WORDS, hurt his
feelings.
And it, by «hear the
Word of God» you
literally mean hearing scripture quoted and / or taught, my first thought is that an iPod can fix that problem — but my
feeling is that you sell both God and yourself short.
Heck, I
