There's an endless array of RB26 build options, from basic refreshed

Okay,
so the ST loses a fair amount of leather and is significantly smaller, but the resulting 1088 kg kerbweight means the turbocharged 1.6 -

engine under the bonnet - and its 212bhp and 236 lb ft of torque - is able to produce E34 M5 threatening performance.

so could not confirm any details about the 911 R.

litre engine bumps output from 84 to 98 horsepower,
so you're less of a sitting duck and more of a mobile mallard.
The latter is the only model to be offered with a 168bhp version of the 1.4 -
litre engine,
so it offers near - hot - hatchback performance.
The
engine and gearbox don't feel particularly well integrated, either,
so you get plenty of revs when you're pulling away from junctions and traffic lights — and that exposes the age - old weakness of Mercedes» 2.1 -
litre powerplant: refinement.
Bentley now offers a 4.0 -
litre V8 diesel and a petrol unit of the same size alongside the 6.0 -
litre W12 petrol launch

so performance is very much the order of the day.
So if Peugeot can get 199kW out of the previous 1.6 Prince
engine used in the R56 and have it pull 0 - 100 km in 5.9 seconds with a six speed manual (instead of 6.1 with the supposedly faster auto in the F56), I'm really not understanding why Mini chose to stuff a 2.0
litre in the F56 — especially given it's heavier and uses more fuel in real world driving.
No changes have been made to the range of turbocharged petrol and diesel
engines, however,
so buyers can choose from an entry - level 113bhp 1.2 -
litre petrol, a 161bhp 1.6 -
litre petrol, and 1.5 or 1.6 -
litre diesels.
The 1.0 -
litre MPI petrol
engines that work
so well in the Up and Citigo do struggle a little in the larger Fabia.
On the motorway, cars with six - speed gearboxes are quiet and low - revving, while five - speed models less
so, but only the entry - level 1.6 and 1.0 -
litre EcoBoost petrol
engines become noticeably noisy.
The 1.6 -
litre engine returns a claimed 44.1 mpg fuel economy and emits 147g / km of CO2 — the 134bhp MINI Cooper is far cleaner with 105g / km CO2 emissions
so won't cost
so much in road tax or company car tax, but it costs nearly # 2,000 more to buy.
So does the fuel economy of the diesel and 1.4 -
litre turbo
engines warrant their higher purchase and maintenance costs?
While the technical details remain secret, what we know
so far is that a 1.5 -
litre petrol
engine will be used in conjunction with an electric motor for power.
The new 1.4 -
litre turbo is the best
engine in the range by far,
so it's a shame it's restricted to the range - topping Vitara S model.
The 2.0 -
litre petrol
engine produces just 118bhp and a modest 210Nm of torque,
so you'll need to work it reasonably hard to make brisk progress.
Even
so we do know this: the car has a new 2.0 -
litre, single - turbo four cylinder
engine officially claimed to give «over 280PS» which, according to one engineer actually means at least 300bhp as it stands.
Somewhere prior to that Land Rover had quietly dropped the V6 petrol
engine (in the UK, at least),
so adding a more powerful version of the 2.2
litre diesel made sense as did providing a lower price entry point in the FWD Freelander.
Only one
engine has been announced
so far, a 1.4 -
litre turbocharged petrol unit that produces 148bhp and 250Nm of torque.
We've only tested the C250d
so far, which developes 201bhp from its 2.1 -
litre four - cylinder diesel
engine.
So too does the new 1.5 -
litre EcoBoost
engine, available with either 148bhp or 180bhp.
