While the almond flour isn't strictly necessary, it does provide a very useful service, while also adding
a little almond flavor to the party.
I used fresh pulp from this morning's almond milk, soaked the dates as someone suggested, added
a little almond flavoring, baked correct amount of time and while they have good flavor and are moist, they are hard to swallow.

You could add a
little sugar into the melted chocolate but the simple
flavor and crunch of the
almonds shine through without anything added.
Then I've added frozen organic raspberries (from Target), some vanilla extract and a
little stevia which both add sweetness and
flavor without sugar or artificial ingredients, raw cacao powder (or you could use cocoa powder), a handful of raw
almonds (or
almond butter would work just fine), and that's it!
The salad is also incredibly healthy, getting a
little extra protein from the
almonds and even though higher in fat, I shaved the manchego very thinly so you get the bold
flavor without adding too much....
A very nice cake came out of the oven: heavy crumb from the
almond flour was brightened by the lime
flavor, with tasty browned edges and a
little bit of crunch from the topping of sugary slivered

almond meal with what you would expect to find in normal breading but with a
little added punch — I add hot smoked paprika for some adult

flavor, but might be a
little difficult to process.
Keep in mind pumpkin puree doesn't have much
flavor, so you might want to taste the batter and adjust your spices accordingly... maybe add a

It was easy to make but there was way too strong of a vinegar taste for me and my husband and it was too thick, not a mayo texture, with 2 tablespoons of
almonds (maybe I blended it a
little too long making this happen), I added some
Almond Oil to it as I had run out of Olive Oil which made it a mayo texture and toned the vinegar
flavor down a bit.

If you can still taste the cream cheese
flavor try adding a
little more cinnamon, or try 1 / / 2 tsp vanilla or

The exceptions are extracts like

Once I've made these two things, I then take out a big pot and put into it about 2 - 3 cups of tea, 1 - 2 cups of this cream and a litre or so of half -
almond milk, half coconut milk, along with some sugar - free chocolate, cocoa (or cocoa and cacao butter), sweetener, spices (like chai spice),
flavorings like vanilla or caramel, salt (I always add a
little salt to most sweets, it balances the
flavor)... basically anything you think will be good in a [quote] mocha [/ quote] type drink (I even put small amounts of maca and other medicinal mushroom powders to up the nutritional value - but just a
little, to avoid bitterness).

I also included a
little non-dairy milk for a boost of creaminess (unsweetened or light soy,
almond, cashew or coconut milk all work well here) and frozen mangoes for a delicious
flavor and even more nutrition.
So with the delicious
flavors of
almonds and coconut, I mixed in a
little coconut sugar to sweeten it and topped that off with some cinnamon and sea salt.
