little apple bananas that are so tasty sweet.

The ripe
banana combined with
apple juice, a
little date syrup, a splash of pure maple syrup and a sprinkling of cinnamon makes them so wonderfully sweet, providing the perfect base for the blueberries and raisins, which after cooking literally explode in your mouth in a burst of juicy deliciousness!
You can add any dried fruit though —
banana pieces,
little bites of
apple and freeze fried raspberries are all amazing too.
I only had one ripe
banana so I used a
little apple sauce as well.

apple can be subbed with
banana puree and if you do need that
little extra bit of sweetness then some maple syrup or stevia would be healthier alternatives to the crunchy white stuff.
I enjoy my nut butters on bread, in oatmeal, slathered on fruit like
apples,
bananas and plantains, in pancakes, with dark chocolate for a
little dessert or right off the spoon.
Hey, it's even a
little healthy: this cake is made with
apples +
bananas.
You could perhaps also try a
little mashed
banana, date puree or stewed
apple though I havent tried this myself.

Just keep an eye on the fruit while it's roasting, as some types (e.g.,
apples) take a
little longer than others and some (e.g., sliced
bananas) take not much time at all.

The staples such as

little more adventurous and include things like yellow (aka - mexican or champagne) mangoes, pomegranates, kumquats, papaya, star fruit, pineapples, and others.

banana to hide the flavor... works every time!
But if it seems a
little silly to warn people away from
bananas,
apples, kiwis, and oranges because of their substantial fructose content, then you might wish to also question the validity of your warnings about HFCS and table sugar.
It's a
little tricky substituting for
banana, but you might try
apple butter, pumpkin, or another thick fruit or veggie puree.
How could it not... fresh pineapple, watermelon, cantaloupe,
apples, plantains, baby mangoes,
little banana trees, cauliflower, avocados, lettuce, cabbage, carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, onions, «Cho - Cho» (Mirlton), cilantro, corn, and habanero peppers were just waiting to be claimed.
