Most
babies will have held it during this transition only to go when put on the body in the carrier, whereas some will
pee a
little and then do the rest in the potty before being put into the carrier.
If you are changing a newborn
baby boy, you might want to consider covering their privates with a
little hand towel or wipe because newborn
babies tend to
pee a lot, and they may do so while you're changing them.
I don't think I would ever buy used cloth diapers its sad to say but some
babies are born with infectious diseases but cloth diapers are a great idea my daughter gets horrible rashes from pampers diapers and Huggies wipes I currently use luvs diapers and seventh generation wipes luvs diapers are cheaper don't give her rashes and hold up throughout the night as my daughter hates to be woken up from a deep sleep to be changed but she sleeps a good 8 hours at 6 months old and only
pees while sleeping but I'm considering cloth diapers they seem a
little more reasonable
I have seen, on Pinterest and elsewhere, this
little cone - shaped device that's supposed to prevent a
baby boy from
peeing on you.
Basically, you just try to notice the teeny
little signals your newborn gives when prepping to
pee or poop, and then respond to that by changing the diaper immediately or holding the
baby over the sink / toilet / receptacle.
Sure, kids
pee in the water all the time, especially
babies, but that's because they're still potty training or still learning about bladder control, a full grown adult should be a
little better prepared and
pee pee before pool time.
They'll actually feel like
baby pees or like
little broccoli or similar to that.
Remember if you
baby is gaining weight, and has adequate amounts of
pees and poops you are doing a great job feeding your
little one!
BTW, some cloth diapers DO allow the
baby to feel dry when they
pee, which is helpful when they're
little, but make sure you make the switch to «feel wet» cloth diapers as they reach their toddler years.
When my son was a
little baby I got so accustomed to him
peeing so frequently, every 15 - 20 minutes, that whenever he would start holding it for longer stretches I would think something was wrong.
My precious
little daughter normally avoids rashes due to her wonderful cloth diapers, but she's also the type of
baby who doesn't really mind walking around in her own poop or
pee, so she doesn't exactly let me know if she needs a diaper change.
