I was so excited to spruce up our
back porch area last summer, but it just didn't happen with having our

I try to take pleasure daily in the routine chores and occasionally «treat» myself by taking some time out to do a
little decorating or just sitting on my
back porch enjoying the last of the balmy days.
As a stay - at - home mom, I spend a lot of time looking at, using, cleaning, arranging, and (usually) enjoying my house... But it can be really easy to focus only on the list of things I still want to do: the kitchen (hence my kitchen inspiration post last week), the
back porch, the front door, the garage — and that's just the big ones... the
little ones are far too numerous to count.
Biggest Embarrassment: The unfinished craft / DIY projects that are tactfully disguised as «finished,» the
back porch that needs a
little love, and the lack of a door into the
back bedroom.
We have been in this home for five years and have only occasionally enjoyed our
little covered
back porch because of mosquitos and flies.
