I wanted to make them again today and just found out that I was out
of peanut butter, so I felt a
little bit experimental and used smooth Speculoos (450gr)
of it.
The picture above is right out
of the freezer, with soft - serve texture — I love it this way but it doesn't really show the chunky
little bits of chocolate
peanut butter that are scattered throughout the ice cream.
It worked extremely well in this decadent
peanut butter and chocolate concoction, which uses a
little bit of cornstarch to thicken the coconut and keep it creamy.
And
of course, I love these with a
little bit a
peanut butter.
I especially love the Chunky
Peanut Butter because
of the
little crispy
bits it has throughout it.
Mix it with a
little bit of water to create a thick, spreadable consistency just like regular
peanut butter.
In this pie you can tell I used crunchy
peanut butter, because I thought it'd add a great
little bit of texture!
I love adding a
bit of peanut butter and a few chocolate chips to vanilla yogurt as a
little dessert.
What I love about their ice cream is the amount
of add - ins including
peanut butter, almond brittle and crunchy
little bits.
It's no secret that Jesse and I have a
little bit of thing for chocolate and
peanut butter together.
The only thing I subbed was a
little bit of canola oil for the shortening, and instead
of letting the chocolate cups harden all the way first I pushed the
peanut butter balls into them so they were more level with the top
of the cups.
1/4 cup unflavoured whey protein 1/4 cup ground almonds (plus a
bit extra, if you need to dry out the mix later) 1tbsp high protein nuts n more white chocolate
peanut butter 1tbsp coconut flour 1 - 2caps valencian orange oil (mine came from Asda) 1 - 2tbsp water (add a
little at a time so that the mix doesn't get too wet & sticky) 7 drops vanilla flavdrops zest
of half an orange 50g white chocolate 6 flaked almonds
And I used chunky
peanut butter and a
little bit of brown sugar instead
of agave because that's what I had.
If you keep them in the freezer, they are like
little bites of coconut /
peanut butter ice cream which is how I like to eat them.
I really love a good power smoothie or, if I'm a
little bit more rushed, swirling a tablespoon
of peanut butter into strawberry greek yogurt!
It has a subtle sweetness but yet
little bit of savory flavor from the
peanut butter swirl.
Whisk together
peanut butter, oil, maple syrup, tamari, grated garlic and ginger, lime juice and a
little bit of water.
I like to bake a lot, and have discovered if you need the natural
peanut butter to be a
little more spreadable and less runny, simply add just a
little bit of honey and stir.
I couldn't get hold
of a salt free
peanut butter but a
little bit of salt balances out the sweet taste perfectly.

Next thing I knew, she had plopped her
little bum down on the grocery store floor,
peanut butter bite in one hand and a look
of determination.
