It feels impressively quick on winding country roads thanks to the huge amounts of grip, while the stiff suspension means there is very
little body roll in the corners.

The suspension upgrades, however, do
little to help tame
body roll or improve
in -
corner performance, although the revised setup does lend a feeling of urban zippiness, inspiring confidence to make quick low - speed lane changes.
This is exacerbated by the Stelvio's high ride height and slight
roll, because although the
body stays flat as you turn
in, it gently tips to the side at the apex of a
corner and takes a
little time to fully right itself.
You rarely get something for nothing
in this world and, sure enough, the price you pay for the T - Roc's forgiving ride is a
little more
body roll through
corners than
in some rivals.
Even
in the tall high - roof models there's very
little body roll so you can
corner with confidence, making it even more of a shame that the steering lets the side down a
little.

in at high speeds - primarily when
cornering.
Well, not that an owner would intend to do hard
cornering in this one, but yes, the A5 cab with
little body roll was very stable around bends.
There is minimal

little that will upset it, just bear
in mind this isn't a hot hatch!
