«I feed people for a
living so I am proud to support a New York City non-profit that is doing so much for those who have so
little, especially in my home
community of Brooklyn.
We
live in a very rural small farming
community, a tight
little valley of about 250.
I
live in a
community with numerous
little children.
But for many moms who do not
live in urban
communities, these plans look a
little different.
It's really great to have them supporting us and, but I am a part of this broader culture that we
live in our
community and so I do feel like the whole thing I mentioned about kind of not really liking to breastfeed in public and Rose you mentioned how you don't tell people often how you breastfeed until four and it kind of makes me sad because I think you know, if everyone else in the world is doing it until 4, maybe everyone else here is doing until 4 and we just, we are all too ashamed or maybe we would kind of be, if I would be a
little more brave about it, I would find a different circle of people that I am not so different from.
When we surround ourselves with a
community of people who have the decency to appreciate what we have to say, or our decision to not say anything at all, it makes
