Going to feature them and your blog on

I honestly haven't
cooked anything
blog worthy, or had the gumption to put together a DIY but I feel out of the funk, with a
little more free time and I feel like I can throw some bidness together.
This
blog offers inspiration for healthy and easy family
cooking for the pleasure of both
little ones» and adults» taste buds.
I've always been nervous about
cooking for other people, and this
blog has amplified the pressure a
little bit — our friends and family see me posting all these recipes, so the whole idea of me
cooking dinner has become a
little more exciting than it used to be.
I did my best to stock up on recipes before I left so that I would have a stash to post on the
blog, but our stay was longer than expected and I had to do a
little cooking in their kitchen — which they were kind enough to allow.

blog post from Pinch My Salt for How to Make Perfect Brown Rice on the stove.)
Something got mixed up behind the curtains and my
little blog was overlooked so it seemed that I didn't have an assigned
blog for this month to
cook from but April and Jane did a great and amazingly quick job on squeezing me in in the end and I was happy all over again:)
And the one aspect of who I am that I have chosen to embrace and own is what this
little blog is all about:
cooking.
Dear Cate, I'm Clio and I'm from Greece.I really like your
blog, very good work.I found the Greece section -LRB-!!!!) and I wanted to give you some info about the avgolemono soup recipe. Here, in Greece, we don't
cook this soup plain with just rice, well, I certainly haven't heard it before. We have chicken avgolemono soup which is very popular, and there is a hole range of avgolemono recipes, soups and casserole dishes.Avgolemono is a sauce, which is done at the end and finishes the recipe with eggs (avgo in greek) and lemons. For example, we have «lamp with lettuce avgolemono, meatballs avgolemono soup, zuccnini stuffed with mince avgolemono, an easter soup with liver chopped and fresh onions, very traditional, we also have dolmades, this is turkish dish, it is like
little parcels made by cabbage leaves that you steam a
little and then are filled with mince, rice and herbs, and avgolemono. And many others.

Why else do you think I called this
blog «The Joy of
Cooking (for
little assholes)?»
A classical soprano with an MFA in Theatre Education / Outreach and Dramatic writing, she started her
blog because having a family gave her a point of view as a
cook, and being a mother (to boys, ages 2 & 5, one with sensory - motor problems) made her even more eager to learn about food systems and how the stuff we eat affects
little people's bodies and brains.
If you have ever taken even the
littlest peek at my
blog, you know I have a deep love for my slow
cooker.
