To give the ice
cream a
little something extra, I stirred in spiced mixed nuts just before I put the
container in the freezer to chill.
Because caramel is heavier than whipped
cream it will somewhat sink to the bottom, there is no way to prevent this, so what I recommend is this: after ice
cream has been in the freezer for four hours (or overnight) pull it from the freezer and scoop it into another
container, mixing it a
little, then put back into the freezer.
:) I used what herbs I had on hand in my
container garden, along with a
little container of Trader Joes Goat
Cream Cheese that I happened to have.
While it always feels a
little sad hitting the bottom of any ice
cream pint, at least we can comfort ourselves by reusing these wide - mouth, twist - top
containers.

little tip — I always buy heavy
cream in small, pint - sized
containers.

While it was nice to put these meal - specific beautiful boxes neatly into my fridge (which actually was another issue - they took up a lot of space), the

cream & a cotton ball soaked w / my perfume, u just dab on....
