With a strong Guy Pearce performance, and supporting characters that are surprisingly rounded given what
little screen time they have, it's a good
drama that hits upon themes of accepting one's mortality, living without fear of the inevitable, and treating those around you as if your existence on this plane were about to expire

I felt his scenes
at work, where he was designing a plane with his co-worker, Ben (Sean Gunn), were a good way to add
drama and moments of comedy, without feeling forced, but the romance which comes to focus a
little further into the film feels unnecessary and takes away from the main focus of the film — the relationship between Po and his father.
Though geared exclusively towards young teenagers, Prom, despite its plethora of superficial and stereotypical attributes, ultimately manages to establish itself as a perfectly watchable - albeit utterly forgettable -
little drama detailing several characters» efforts
at preparing for the title event.
Already an Emmy behemoth and a ratings winner, Big
Little Lies looks likely to keep scooping up awards once it arrives
at the various industry awards that mark the next stage of awards season, including a few — like the Producers Guild awards — where it's been classified as a

at some point.
If that means some of the film feels chilly, a

Little Miss Sunshine appears to be a completely clichéd American independent comedy /

More gothic
drama then it is full - on noir, The Red House is nonetheless a fascinating curio piece, and while its emotional components are a
little overwrought
at times, the power they have over the viewer still remains undeniable making the film an underappreciated gem worthy of rediscovery.
