I painted it for our front
hall in chippy Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint in mustard seed, but the
entry was looking a
little cluttered with it out there.
Although the 2nd annual i - deco Istanbul Decoration and Design Fair billed itself as «inspired by nature,» there was
little green in evidence beyond the grass covering the
entry -
hall floor.
I've mentioned a couple of times that the
entry hall is connected to another
hall, but I don't think I've actually showed that part yet so I thought today I'd give you a
little peek (although all I have is our before photos and a few cell phone pictures of the painting progress since we were enjoying Thanksgiving and I didn't think to get out my camera until it was too late!).
Our
entry hall is on the small side, but we've created a cedar planked mudroom in a closet to give us a
little more space and more of an open feel.

When I looked up at this one from the main
entry hall, below, all I could envision were a bunch of
little objects and picture frames cluttering up that big wall.
