As well as the spices I added a
little cocoa powder for
extra richness and used mostly brown sugar for fudginess.
I only had vanilla protein
powder so I added a
little extra cocoa to compensate for that.
I even dusted it with
cocoa powder so it wasn't blindingly white.The egg free royal icing is really just
extra thick
powdered sugar glaze made from a
little milk or water.
Why settle for
cocoa powders with
extra fillers and
little to no nutritional value, not to mention questionable sourcing?
We decorated ours with a
little extra unsweetened
cocoa powder.
