I sometimes give restaurant
gift cards if I'm too far away to bring
food — it's the
little things sometimes, and anytime someone else will cook for me, that's big!

I've made four homemade
food gift recipes below to show you what's possible and hopefully this will provide you with a
little inspiration.
When I finally got back home, I had a party with close friends who I hadn't seen in so long (and who
gifted me with the best ugly Christmas sweater), my family, including all my extended relatives (and their adorable
little babies), and, of course, all the delicious home - cooked meals / other cultural
foods I could only find in my town.
My guy and I joke that Northeasterners and Southerners are kind of the same people: we love bright colors, home - cooked
food, and handwritten thank - you notes (or hostess
gifts, or all those
little etiquette rules).
Since this week's Sunday Supper is all about homemade
food gifts, I knew it would make a great choice as something a
little different from your more common cookie (especially since I've already shared cranberry gin which makes the best
gift!).

little food - safe cellophane wrap, ribbon and a
gift tag make each one a festive, not to mention, delicious treat!
It's the perfect opportunity to purchase
gifts, as there's tons of unique
food, clothing and other
little trinkets and items that you won't be able to find anywhere else.
At Michaels, I found these
little chalkboard tags attached to clothespins, which make fun
food gift tags!
They are great to add to a
gift of
food, too — once the delicious treat is gone, they still have a cute
little ornament.
Take these
little details about her favorite
foods, hobbies, music, etc., and use them as an inspiration for making cute
little gifts, or planning amazing dates that she will never forget.

My own reasons for disliking cruises, in no particular order: Mediocre
food, cramped rooms,
little to no exposure to other cultures, tourists, shuffleboard, Norwegian sailors, mirrored hallways, karaoke, itineraries,
gift shops, buffets, low water pressure.
Leave a
little welcoming
gift (some chocolates or a bottle of wine) and a
little food for a bite when the travelers» arrive.
A
little added incentive: free
food and drinks,
gifts with purchase and a DJ playing «downbeat» music Friday night.
Our pretty heart - shaped plates are perfect for presenting
food on something a
little more special - and they make lovely
gifts.
We buy as
little processed, packaged
foods as possible, make most
gifts, use Freecycle, keep the thermostat low, and use natural cleaners for our home and laundry.
