And back in was the «bunny hop» — which serves
little gameplay purpose, since drifting works much as it always did, but that little hop before steering into a power slide just feels right!

It's a nice and enjoyable distraction to the regular
gameplay, but unfortunately serves
little purpose.
Little things like that and the sometimes absurd stuff you end up doing do sort of leave you with the impression that at points Daedalic were just creating daft hoops for you to jump through simply to flesh out the game, rather than for actual
gameplay purposes.
For all intents and
purposes the title is
little more than an on - rails shooter, with a couple of sequences to alleviate the tedious
gameplay.
A few elements, like the infrequent fisticuffs or sword - wielding sections, feel a
little shoehorned in just to introduce new gestures, but they do at least serve their
purpose in breaking up the action... even if they're hardly captivating on a
gameplay level.
