posting this, but I'm really excited to have participated in the Cookies for Kids» Cancer Event organized by Julie at The
Little Kitchen.
I did my best to stock up on recipes before I left so that I would have a stash to
post on the blog, but our stay was longer than expected and I had to do a
little cooking in their
kitchen — which they were kind enough to allow.
Colleen asked me to write a guest

posting this, but I would hide the electronics w / old exterior shutters Your b» room looks fab & my hubby is building barn doors as a divide between our very open plan LR /
kitchen area in our
little beach cottage in RI.
Because there is SO MUCH TO SAY and SO MUCH TO SHOW (yes, even in a
little kitchen remodel there is a lot that goes into them) I will have to do more
posts to share in greater detail on each of the elements.
As some of you will remember (before the
little interlude of my sentimental journey down memory lane as my daughter headed off to college, the
kitchen remodel
post and introducing that sweetie pie Winston!)
If you have read my blog before this
post you already know that we had a cozy
little settee in our
kitchen that we were using as a banquette.
We talked a
little about my
kitchen a long while back on a different
post so it might look familiar:) We've already painted 3 connecting rooms from that strip.
I did a
little post on it before the
kitchen was finished and I'll do an updated one where I can show you what is in each drawer now that it is all done!
I'm actually starting a much needed
kitchen renovation in about a week so I'll try to
post a
little more and share some new ideas, products and a few new discoveries.
As a stay - at - home mom, I spend a lot of time looking at, using, cleaning, arranging, and (usually) enjoying my house... But it can be really easy to focus only on the list of things I still want to do: the
kitchen (hence my
kitchen inspiration
post last week), the back porch, the front door, the garage — and that's just the big ones... the
little ones are far too numerous to count.
You may have noticed this sweet
little gingham stool cover from my
kitchen post the other day.
