a little less carbs, ya know?
As much as I love oats, sometimes I want something
a little less carb - heavy.
We've adapted this recipe to make
it a little less carb heavy, which will prevent your blood sugars from skyrocketing.

With a
little less than 3 net
carbs per doughnut, these are a great guilt - free treat!
Foods with more fiber have a
lesser effect on blood sugar, and thus have fewer net
carbs, whereas foods with
little or no fiber but many
carbs will cause more of a dramatic increase of your blood glucose.
In general, whey protein powders contain
less than five grams of
carbs per serving and have
little or no fat.
My own sense is that
less carbs should be consumed and
little starch as the body system no matter what effort is taken to preclude aging, is not as efficient as it once was.
The key in finding them is to look for higher levels of saturated fat from natural ingredients, a low net
carb count, and just a
little less protein.
i went on this diet and lost 14 punds in a
little less then a month and it was amazing i kept the weight off because i did nt want to put it back on it u immediatly start eating millions of
carbs a day ur going to gain the weight back just like any other diet and if you are extremely obese then u need to slowly undergo this diet because obese people consume so many
carbs a day their body may shut down with out them so take it slow.
Then I said, ok lets up the
carbs, now I average about 50 net
carbs per day, a
little less on days that I'm not in the gym and I feel soooo much better and am much more pleasant to be around.
You've likely addressed this elsewhere, but over a year ago, after stopping eating wheat and then 6 months on a very low
carb diet, I felt myself kind of flattening out,
less energy,
less appetite, still bloated and losing very
little weight.
These are huge and radical health differences when it comes to doing a
little bit
less in the way of saturated fats, and more good
carbs or unsaturated fats.

I would have liked a
little more protein, and a few
less carbs, but to be fair, they are not marketed as protein bars.

Macronutrient adherence can be a bit
less strict during this time — staying within your target maintenance calories is crucial, and it's important to more or
less hit your protein needs, but the remaining calories can be split amongst
carbs and fat as you see fit, and if you're a
little low on protein here or there it's not as important as during the «on» portion of your prep.
Carbs tend to boost leptin and thyroid levels more than protein and fat, so I generally think you should be erring on the side of a
little extra carbohydrate rather than a
little less.
One medium Granny Smith apple contains a
little less than 23 grams of total
carbs.
These meals are high in
carbs and contain
little to no fat (5 grams or
less).
That said, even though someone who eats as much as 200 - 500g of
carbs a day can still be starving their guts bugs if those foods contain
little to now indigestible substrates (fiber), a generic rule of thumb (albeit an ugly measure) is
less overall carbohydrates — especially when you start dropping below 75 - 100g a day — translates into a dramatic drop in the amount of food reaching your colon where the vast majority of your intestinal microbial community resides.
So in nutshell I calculate I burn about 1800 Cal a day and I am 55 years old and my weight is lets say 65 kg and I get max 2200 Cal a day (sometimes
less) with
little carbs (healthy ones like oats), minimum of sugar and meat and lots of veggies and fruits, no real fat intake other then olive oil with salads
I know in my own personal experience I do sleep
less if I'm eating very
little carb.
I previously cleaned the
carbs thoroughly before the second time cleaning it and it had sat for a while after that so I cleaned them again and found a
little bit of dirt and stuff, and after trying it out after I cleaned it the bike bogs down a
little less, but it's still noticeable, especially around the 6k range.
