I think we'll try it again with
a little less spice and work our way up to 2 Tbs.
I did not seed my jalapeno, but if you want
a little less spice remove the seeds after you slice the jalapeno.
I prefer
it a little less spiced and so I use just 3 teaspoons of the cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon each cloves and allspice.

little more honey, and a
little less of the
spices if you found it bitter x
This mix of
spices has almost the same flavor with a
little more richness to it, it's more cost effective if you purchase it all in the bulk section, and the sodium level is way
less.
