We mostly packed
sandwiches / snacks in our cooler for the day and that worked great since my
little one likes to eat every few hours — this allowed me to bring fruit, snacks and
lunch for him along with water / milk.

My son helps me make his
lunch fresh every morning and as cute as they are, we don't have time to slice hot dogs into
little people or put faces on his
sandwich.
With low - fat whole grain crackers, low fat cheese slices, and lean turkey
lunch meat it only takes me a few minutes to cut the meat and cheese up into nice
little squares and give everyone a «
sandwich building kit» of their own.
Wrap it in a whole grain tortilla for a non-boring version of a tuna
sandwich and a great way to sneak a lot of veggies into your
little one's
lunch.
We never had chips in the house, so I would usually get a
sandwich, a piece of fruit, maybe yogurt, a juice box (frozen to keep everything cool until
lunch time) and a
little cookie / jolly rancher / sweet.
Or, take a
little of the extra and wrap it up in a tortilla, add some cheese, and make yourself a leftovers
