One vanilla bean is roughly equivalent to about 3 teaspoons vanilla extract, so if you're substituting one for the other, you may only need
part of a vanilla bean to make a
recipe calling for extract — this said, a
little extra vanilla bean generally doesn't hurt!

of pork, she used pearl onions which I omitted since I didn't have any on hand, and I added a
little more garlic, carrots and celery than the
recipe called for.
That's
part of the reason I don't figure it out is because
little changes in the
recipe can effect the final outcome.

It's
little more than a standard overnight oats
recipe, following the usual formula
of one
part oats to two
parts liquid (unsweetened almond milk, in this case), one
part fruit (mashed banana), and a
little something for flavour stirred through (a touch
of vanilla extract and a pinch
of salt).
The best
part of this
recipe, is how
little time and effort it takes to make these
little morsels.
Most
recipes that use cassava include a fair amount
of fat and protein (such as cassava waffles or pancakes), and are eaten as
part of a larger meal, especially since a lot
of people pushing cassava are Paleo, who tend to have
little fear
of meat or fat.
I am a
little nervous about this
part of the
recipe.
Discovering
