Here's a topping idea that won me 1st place in a local
pizza contest: a
little bit of purchased alfredo sauce,
sliced mushrooms sauteed with fresh thyme, caramelized
sliced onions, spinach sauteed with garlic and top off with some crispy cooked, crumbled bacon (cook the mushrooms in some of the bacon fat)....
I used a fried egg to which I added a few
slices of pepperoni and then topped that with a
little pizza sauce.
(Just with a
little olive oil and s & p.) Those grilled veggies combined with
sliced tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and Parm, bits of shaved garlic, and chopped fresh basil made for one stunning
pizza.
Brush cut - out shapes — naan works well — with a

Back when I lived in Germany in the 1990's, there was this
little pizzeria near where I lived and they did this
pizza with
sliced boiled egg on it.
On the 13th of July at around 6.30 pm we will be hosting a tidy
