I was planning on making a Lentil Soup with Dried Prunes (inspired by a

So, the
recipe of this salad I read in one tiny
little book with few
recipes suitable for the Lent diet, when you're not allowed to eat meat and dairy products; and I liked it from the first spoon (even though first time I didn't use neither honey or coriander seeds) and since then I prepare it.
And since I am reading a modern classic, I'll give you today a
recipe from one of my favorite cookbooks: Donna Hay's Modern Classics
Book 2 — these
little breads turned out so good I regretted halving the
recipe.
It was such a hit that I'm putting writing the
recipe down in my
little book with favorite
recipes!
I've got a
recipe book that pretty much just requires mixing everything together before putting it into the maker, so I was a
little wary about this one before I even tried it.
This
book covers a wide range of fruits, and besides
recipes, she gives us a
little history on each fruit.
The banner picture with him smiling and hugging a cute

little bit, but his bread
book is quite amazing — it's filled with a variety of regional

Nothing gets my goat like lazy free from
recipe writing — the sorts of articles and
books compiled by those intent on making a quick buck from the growing «free from» phenomenon by using the «replace all» function to put «gluten free plain flour» instead of «plain flour» in the ingredients list with
little regard for the availability or suitability of ingredients in the dish.
My Vegan Egg Salad is tops in many folks» (
recipe)
books so, I decided to add a
little of the secret eggy ingredient: Indian black salt.
I have discovered that these
recipes should be followed pretty closely - every time I try to substitute or add a
little less of an ingredient it doesn't turn out the same, and it seems to take me a second try to get each dessert just right, especially for the desserts which don't have pictures in this
book.
