Recently, I have been struck by the fact that many of the commercially produced SPaG
resources can be a
little dull and dry
at times.
Because they're already above the «proficient bar» in academic achievement
at a time when most federal and state policies are fixed on boosting low achievers over that bar, schools and teachers have
little incentive to focus on their educational needs or to devote
resources to their schooling.
I have provided this
resource as support for those completing L5 / L7 SpLD qualifications and who are working towards AMBDA / APS /
ATS as there is
little guidance available for the multi-sensory teaching side.
In «The Common Core Takes Hold,» Robert Rothman of the Alliance for Excellent Education acknowledges a number of McShane's concerns: states» shrinking budgets will likely impact the funding necessary for implementation; there is
