little sauce packets to their tray?

Hear the name ravioli nudi — literally, naked ravioli — and you may envision
little sauceless pasta
packets, but in fact it's not the
sauce that's missing, but the pasta itself.
As a made - from - scratch kind of girl, though, I'm a
little disappointed in how many pre-made spice
packets and
sauces the tortilla soups called for, though.
I didn't want to skip anything that comes with this
packet, but in order to make the noodles a
little extra special with very
little effort I prepared a black pepper
sauce.
You could always substitute a
little honey (2 or 3 teaspoons) in with the
sauce or a
packet of artificial sweetener like Stevia if you didn't want to omit the sweetness altogether I personally think this
sauce needs a hint of sweetness, but you could definitely use something besides brown sugar!
While it was nice to put these meal - specific beautiful boxes neatly into my fridge (which actually was another issue - they took up a lot of space), the
little containers of soy
sauce, mini-plastic containers of fresh herbs, sour cream
packets, 4 - oz cartons of milk, peeled garlic cloves, balsamic vineger, etc etc) while convenient, were not congruent with my normal environmental practices.
