I'm struggling to understand how airlines like Asiana and Lufthansa can offer such
little seat width when they offer the same number of seats in a row as Singapore Airlines and Korean Air.

I have used this buggy very
little, as the front bar is extremely flimsy and after only a few uses no longer clips into place and is broken, the
seat space is small both the
width and height.

The 787 - 9 Dreamliner offers Economy Class
seats with a
little over 17 ″ of
seat width and just 31 ″ of
seat pitch so they're about as tight as you'll find on any mainstream long - haul aircraft — that's not good for the distances the 787 - 9 flys.
The aircraft also offers a Premium Economy cabin which, considering how
little seat -
width the
seats in Economy Class offer, may be a good compromise if Business Class is expensive or if Business Class award availability is non-existent.
The Economy Class cabin shares the same tight
seat width as the Main Cabin extra
seats but the Economy Class
seats have a
seat pitch of just 31 ″ — and there's no way I'm flying to New Zealand in a
seat that tight and with that
little leg room.
but I'd rather pay a
little more (if I have to) and fly an airline like Austrian which has just announced service to LA and which offers considerably more
seat width and a
little more
seat pitch on its flights to LA.
