I usually don't follow much of a ratio: I pour flour (s) in a big bowl, add whatever liquid I have around (non dairy milk, water, cold broth, maybe a
little bit apple cider, or some beer too, which gives lightness to the crêpes), some flax gel (1 Tbsp ground flax
seeds + 3 TBSP warm water), some salt or maybe a
little sugar, sometimes spices like curcuma and black pepper, or tandoori spice powder etc, stir until the consistency pleases me, adding more liquid if necessary, let it sit for a few hours
on my counter, and voilà.

Our go to breakfast for our 2
little girls are either greek yogurt w / a
little honey, cinnamon, chia
seeds and fresh fruit or whole wheat toast with a
little cream cheese and fruit
on the side.
It was so fun to gather up the juicy
little seeds to bite and crunch into (my mom, of course, would warn us not to get them
on the tablecloth or our clothes for fear of staining).
This simple toasted muesli recipe is the perfect breakfast
on its own, but also great as a topping, tasty
little snack or protein boost

Chia
seeds are more than fancy
little superfood
seeds that make delicious puddings (although, that's a pretty good function
on it's own for breakfast
on rush hour mornings!).
Then the cayenne - toasted

little medallions come to my rescue... they're made with heart healthy extra dark chocolate, and lots of colorful
little super foods (dried fruit, nuts, and
seeds) sprinkled
on top for fun.
Since I had done such an expert job of
seeding the tomatoes, the salsa turned out a
little dry, so I added a handful of chopped cherry tomatoes that I had
on hand from my CSA pick - up.
I like to start with a thin layer of Baja Sauce
on a warmed tortilla followed by the roasted cauliflower adn onion, cabbage, grape tomato halves, fresh cilantro leaves, a
little more Baja Sauce, and a few roasted pumpkin
seeds with a lime wedge
on the side for squeezing.
But I have always loved sunflower
seeds, so add a
little milk chocolate
on them and you sure can't go wrong with this one.
Added a
little handfull of sunflower
seeds for ekstra crunsh in the crumble and used maple syrup and dried blueberries instead of dates — incredible -LRB-: Served with the Icelandic skyr
on the side....
Lunch — Usually whatever I'm working
on suffices as lunch, but ideally a salad with a
little bit of grains tossed in and some legumes / nuts /
seeds for protein.
(I went a
little light
on the honey and added some liquid stevia - the sticky glycerin - based variety - skipped cardamom and added pumpkin pie spice instead, oh and added hemp
seeds instead of chia)
Currently this means brown rice + a basic yellow dal + plain yogurt
on the side + shredded brussel sprouts sauteed with a lot of indian spices (cumin
seeds, some garam masala, some tumeric, salt, a
little chili powder.)
If you want to add a
little extra something special to your pumpkin pasta, chop up some pepita
seeds and sprinkle
on top.
I threw some fresh Pomegranate
seeds on top before serving to add some color and a
little bit of sweetness to balance out the savory spices.

My grandmother used to make them every year for Christmas and Easter when I was still
little and I remember helping her cut the dough and placing the pretzels
on the baking sheet, brushing them with egg and sprinkling them with the caraway
seeds.

I always have dried figs
on hand as my husband uses them as fuel for long bike rides, so I decided to make my crisps with figs, toasted walnuts, a variety of
seeds and just a
little rosemary.
I filled up quickly
on the soup and later had a Kale Salad with
Little Seed Caesar Dressing.
On another tray lay out the chickpeas, scatter over remaining zest, fennel
seeds, season with salt and pepper and drizzle with a
little olive oil.
For this version, the coriander
seeds provide
little pops of flavor throughout the cake and I don't mind their texture, but if you're not keen
on the whole
seeds in your cake, add a teaspoon of ground coriander to the batter instead.
