I sometimes use different chili powders or add a little cayenne and maybe
a little smoked paprika, but this is the base I riff off of.
I like to add
a little smoked paprika to it too — lends a nice, subtle smoky flavor and turns it a slight earthy pink color
I sometimes add
a little smoked paprika and serve with melted swiss, red roasted peppers and garlic aioli on a toasted bun.
Lacking decent smoked salt (not smoky enough), how about throwing in
a little smoked paprika?
