When it comes to
snacking, Dr. Fuhrman,
in his book Eat to Live, suggests
little to no
snacking in between meals.
Other
meals get to be what you'd normally do with
little snacks in between.
Enlist their help and support with
little things like making sure you drink water constantly (making milk is thirsty work), sleep as much as possible
in between nursing sessions, and eat good nutritious
meals or
snacks on a regular basis.
I try to eat every 3 or so hours during the day, even if it's just a
little snack in between the larger
meals.
It's generally suggested that especially starting out, you stick to 3
meals a day, about 3 - 4 hours apart with
little to no
snacking in -
