Where did I go wrong!?!!! Lol very typical me but I had a nightmare making these... I put the almonds in the
blender and blended them a
little so they were crumbled, but my vitamin didn't even like that (kept getting
stuck all around the blade).
I thought if I make just
little portions (that's how the
stick -
blender - chopper came up) of these, it would be better.
Puree this soup until desired consistency, I used my
little 2 cup food processor in two batches, but feel free to use your nifty
stick blender if you have one of those guys.
in fact next week I will be cooking one up for sbout 15 people... most have not evah tasted this deliciousness, this orgasmic divine intervention... so it is gping to be fun... wish I had a swizzle
stick but I discovered that a potato masher works pretty well... a
blender is also a no - no in my books, a
little hand sweat is best!
I kind of cheated on the shake up part too because I just
stuck it all in the
blender with a
little bit of ice and pulsed for a second or two.
Our grandmother would take the pumpkin flesh and bake it in the oven with a
little cinnamon and sugar, and then we'd
stick it in the
blender, puree it, and use it for baking.
