A few
little sugar pumpkins found their way inside.
Potatoes for my Parmesan mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts for the Roasted Brussels Sprouts with bacon, roasted carrots and
little sugar pumpkins for my homemade pumpkin pies.
A couple of hours and plenty of false labor pains later, I'm back at the same corner picking farm - fresh produce.I score the most amazing purple kohlrabi, beets, carrots, baby turnips, breakfast radishes and
little sugar pumpkins.
We made dinner with
a little sugar pumpkin last night and so I decided to soak the seeds overnight in the fridge and roast them this morning.
Don't you even worry
your little sugar pumpkin head off for a second though, I have more coming next week.

I did make a few substitutions tho - I substituted the brown
sugar for agave, and the batter was still a
little thin for me, so I added a
little pumpkin bread mix.
These delicious
little treats are made with a short list of ingredients: pie crust (store bought or homemade - see TIPS below),
pumpkin puree, brown
sugar and
pumpkin pie spice.
This included Greek yogurt (2 %),
pumpkin, brown
sugar (I used just a
little less than the recommended 3/4 cup), canola oil, an egg, and the now - cooled espresso / water mixture.

sugar or cheese

pumpkin powder and a
little natural
sugar.
I like this bread but given the abundance of
sugar in most
pumpkin - based baked goods, you do have to know before your first bite that this is going to be a
little different.
Our grandmother would take the
pumpkin flesh and bake it in the oven with a
little cinnamon and
sugar, and then we'd stick it in the blender, puree it, and use it for baking.
And also contribute a
little pumpkin something to the Internet for all us gluten - free, grain - free, dairy - free,
sugar - free folks.
I used a
little less
sugar but added some
pumpkin / vanilla creamora to it.

I cut the

I also changed up the toppings from the original recipe and added strawberries that I roasted in coconut
sugar and vanilla and then topped it all off with
pumpkin seeds and poppy seeds for a
little crunch.
It is my favorite shredded curly kale as a base, with wonderful buttery roasted
sugar pumpkin, a
little creamy goat cheese, sour cranberries, sweet candied pecans and a shallot vinaigrette.
The great thing about
pumpkin puree is that it's healthy and it only takes a
little bit of
sugar and spice to make it taste amazing.

I use it in my Vegan
Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal, my 4 Ingredient
Pumpkin Pie Spice Syrup, but you could also sprinkle it into a smoothie, stir it into Vegan Coconut Whipped Cream, add some to my Perfect Vegan
Sugar Cookies, or sprinkle it over popcorn with a
little sugar.
To make the glaze, simply whisk together the 2 tablespoons
pumpkin puree with the confectioner's
sugar, adding a
little at a time and stirring well between each addition until all confectioner's
sugar has been incorporated.

I sub in honey for all the
sugar and thought about making a crumble to go on top of it that is full of almonds and chopped nuts (walnuts since I live in a walnut orchard) I've also been making gluten free oatmeal with a spoon full of
pumpkin puree for my
little ones in the morning they've been digging that alot.
You can use maple syrup, coconut
sugar, or honey — just blend it with the
pumpkin milk mix a
little at a time and stop when it's sweet enough for you.

little fresh or canned
pumpkin is safe to feed to your pooch or kitty — just make sure that their portions are low in
sugar and free of artificial sweeteners like xylitol or sorbitol.
