I love Rachel Khoo and her Parisien
little Kitchen... I used to watch her videos also when I was
working becuase the
tiles of the kitchen and her french touch cooking was really charming.
Many of the buildings in the center are beautifully decorated in colonial style with red -
tiled roofs, and
little flower filled
wrought iron balconies.
By moving the enemy graphics down one row of
tiles I was able to extend that to a 4 × 6 block, giving them a
little extra height to
work with.
When we bought our
little castle I loved the look of cement
tiles but our home needed a tremendous amount of
work before I could justify buying fancy
tile.
Three 12 x 12 slate
tiles (with
little velcro bottoms to protect the floor) will really help the illusion you are
working towards.
With a
little work, you can restore your
tiles.
2) Obviously these hold up to water, but any reason to think this wouldn't
work on
tile floors that will get a
little more wear and tear than the shower walls?
I decided to try them on the kitchen backsplash wall in lieu of the expense and
work of
tile — and I think they add a fun
little bit of interest to that space.
